Katy Perry’s Brave Uplifting Roar Song

I find Katy Perry’s hit song, Roar, a good and brave uplifting song. It is meant for those who want to show someone that you know that you’re fantastic. It also means that you are able to show you’re emotions which some people are unable to do. If you check out the lyrics of this song, it can help you a lot in life.

Especially if someone calls you dumb, stupid or even dis likeable. It can show them that you don’t care what they think. You know what, it says that whatever they say, no matter what it is, it will definitely make you stronger. It’s all about believing in yourself and this song is for someone who are afraid to face our biggest fears.

Rihanna’s Twerking Pour It Up Music Video

Rihanna finally dropped visuals for her hit banger “Pour It Up” from her Unapologetic album. It features Rihanna on a throne while throwing money to some twerkin‘ strippers. One of the world’s biggest pop stars trying her hand at playing both stripper and bankroller, its a twist on the agency dynamics typically involved in the customer stripper exchange. There’s a lot of money flying everywhere, and it’s safe to say Rihanna who is no stranger to strip clubs herself enjoyed making the video.

The racy music video features the pop star and a twerk team fit enough to put Miley in her place. The women show off seductive moves on stripper poles set over a pool of water in a shadowy strip club. Rihanna is the queen of the sensual grotto, pictured on a gilded throne with an equally elaborate ensemble of lingerie and a curly blonde wig.

Rihanna is known for her creative and often controversial videos. In 2011, her video for S&M was banned for its erotic content. ‘We Found Love’ won several awards for best music video a year later, but not before being banned for its depiction of drugs and violence. Despite the removal of ‘Pour It Up,’ which is sure to be temporary, Rihanna’s ‘Navy’ has shown an outpouring of support for the video.

Miley Cyrus Criticized MTV VMA 2013 Performance

I have read a lot of reactions on social media these days about Miley Cyrus MTV VMA 2013 Performance. I saw it on Youtube and I could not blame other people why Miley has been bombarded with a lot of negative criticism.

The MTV Video Music Awards has long been known as TV’s strangest awards show and Miley Cyrus lived up to that reputation with a provocative performance that involved twerking and running a foam finger along her body.

Miley Cyrus, kicked off her performance by singing her hit summer single, “We Can’t Stop” appeared on stage with a multitude of dancing teddy bears while she wagged her tongue out to the cameras and slapped a woman’s butt on stage. The former Disney star eventually stripped off her bear-inspired ensemble and revealed a nude bikini underneath as her dancers surrounded her with giant teddy bears strapped to their backs.

The weirdness turned into raunchy when Robin Thicke appeared on stage. Cyrus remained on stage to sing backup vocals and ran a foam finger along her private parts with some major pelvic thrusts.

Regardless, what’s clear is that Miley, like many, many other artists before her, used the world’s stage at the MTV VMA awards to show the world, what she’s all about now, long after she was cast as the Disney TV character.

Whether we like it or not, she has followed in the footsteps of many other female teen stars who grow up and for them, somehow, that means behaving and looking like a sex symbol. In my own opinion, Miley needs to learn that being a real woman, doesn’t mean being slutty, but should mean having some class.

Our Special Mother’s Day Music Video

We recorded a music video as our tribute to our dear Mom Juvy. I played the keyboard while my wife sang a Tagalog song dedicated for Mothers entitled “IINGATAN KA”. It is a beautiful song from Carol Banawa who is one of the best OPM singers in our country. The message of the song expresses our love and care for our mom. We just recorded this video once and we only practiced twice that’s why its not that perfect in tune and melody but we played and sang it from the heart.  :)

I’m so glad that my mom liked our video and she was touched by the message of the song. Thanks so much Mamcy! You know how much we love you and we truly appreciate all the things that you have done to us. Happy Mother’s Day to you and to all the beautiful Mom’s out there!
